I had a great time at this hotel. The spacious rooms offered amazing views and cleanliness was on point. The location was ideal, just a quick 10-minute walk to the city center and bus station. However, the breakfast options could definitely use some improvement, as it was quite limited.

nice quiet area, pleasant common bar, attractive dining area

The cleaning solution's overpowering smell was unbearable!!! The shower fluctuated dangerously between extreme temperatures. Lack of air conditioning made our summer stay uncomfortable!!! The WiFi was excruciatingly slow!!!

I stayed in a Standard Double Room for 4 nights. The room was spacious, super clean, and had amazing views of the mountains. It was well appointed, and the decor felt really cozy. There was good WiFi, and the common areas were nice too. Just wish the breakfast had more variety.

Hotel Picos Del Sur is in a nice, quiet area just a ten-minute walk from the heart of downtown El Calafate. We loved the spacious rooms with beautiful mountain views and enjoyed the attractive dining area and patio with a lovely lawn. The breakfast had long hours, and even though it could use a bit more variety, we still appreciated it being complimentary.
